Company History
Zenith Chemical Corporation was established and acquired Talent Chemical's nickel sulphate plant in Taichung, Taiwan.
Zenith formed a joint venture with PQ Corporation of the USA to produce colloidal silica at the Taichung plant.
Zenith started production of nickel chloride using in-house developed technology.
Zenith started production of nickel sulfamate using in-house developed technology.
Zenith established Giga Gas & Electronic Materials Company to supply specialty gases to the semiconductor and other electronics industries.
Central Glass of Japan invested in Giga Gas, becoming a joint venture partner of Zenith.
OEM nickel sulphate and nickel chloride production for Vale Inco.
Vale transferred its nickel salts business to Zenith.
Zenith completed nickel sulphate production line number two.
Hanwa Kogyo of Japan invested in Zenith, becoming its first foreign shareholder.
Zenith completed nickel sulphate line 3 expansion and also launched production of nickel oxide, nickel carbonate and nickel nitrate, using in-house developed technology.
